What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a high-performance finishing process that applies finely ground pigment and resin particles to metal surfaces using an electrostatic charge. The item is then cured in our specialist ovens, bonding the powder into a smooth, durable coating.

This creates a tough, uniform finish that resists fading, chipping and corrosion, perfect for everything from heavy-duty equipment to decorative metalwork.
Tougher than traditional paint
UV and weather resistant
Suitable for indoor & outdoor use
Long-lasting, professional result
Our experienced team handles every job with care, from surface preparation through to curing. As with any coating process, the key to a great result lies in expert pre-treatment, and that’s where our team shines.
Surface preparation and powder coating process
1. Surface Preparation:
The item undergoes thorough sanding and precision drilling to achieve the required specifications and ensure optimal coating adhesion.
2. Chemical Treatment:
It is then immersed in chemical tanks for approximately 30 minutes to remove contaminants, etch the surface, and improve bonding.
3. Drying Phase:
After chemical treatment, the item is baked to eliminate any excess moisture or product residue.
4. Final Cleaning:
A tack rag is used to wipe down the surface, removing any remaining particles or dust before coating.
5. Powder Application:
Using an electrostatic spray gun, the powder coating is evenly applied, ensuring a smooth and consistent finish.
6. Curing:
The coated item is baked in an oven at 190°C for around 15 minutes, with time adjusted based on the material thickness to ensure full curing and durability.
